Hello and Welcome to my Bio page.

I am married to Randy Parker.  He has been and continues to be such an inspiration and encouragement to me.

I began to paint for a very peculiar reason.  In 2004, Randy and I had just moved from Washington, DC to a small town in South Alabama where he served as the director of a National Science Foundation, Center of Excellence, Pulp and Paper grant.  I was tired and hurting from fibromyalsia.  I found a canvas I had bought hoping I could learn to paint.  With no knowledge at all, I painted an image of a person in pain.  It was good therapy for me and I decided to spend more and more time drawing and painting.

I am learning more about the different mediums as I experiment and study from various accomplished coaches.  I am so grateful for the health and desire to be an artist and painter.  I hope you enjoy this website and I thank you for visiting.
